Fellow Climate Warriors,
I’m proud to say we’ve hit 2 years as a company! What started as a podcast and rooftop party for fun has swelled into what it is today. Top 5% downloaded podcast globally (93 countries). 22 events, 15 cities, 3 countries, 7 startup showcases and 5,500+ people. Last but not least, 8 badass portfolio companies in CTC’s early-stage consumer climate tech AngelList rolling fund we launched in January.
In addition to our incredibly talented team of CTC contractors, bright fund fellows, and illustrious sponsors, none of this would have been possible without YOU–the CTC Climate Warrior community. We paddled out to sea and lost sight of shore betting you have the same dream we do–that humanity can solve climate change in a positive and profitable way together–and it looks like we’re right.
However, despite our progress, we’ve still got work to do. The edge of an abundant, sustainable island is in sight, yet turbulent, barracuda-infested waters lie ahead. It’s not time for complacency. It’s time to paddle harder in unison and have a little fun while we’re at it.
On that note, we can’t wait to see you at our startup showcase at Greentown Labs in Boston on 9/13 (invite coming soon…), at Irving Plaza for THE ultimate NYC Climate Week kickoff party on 9/18, and at our 2nd annual happy hour in London on 9/26 at Quadrature Foundation’s HQ (invite also coming soon…).
